Sock Progress

Not a whole lot to report on the sock front, i've begun knitting the heel on one and have sucessfully completed the heel on the other. It was right after i finished the heel on the one that i realized i could go no further, i had no stitch markers and no way to cut yarn to make them, so gusset decreases were pretty much out of the question. Thankfully I did have the other sock with me, so I worked on beginning the heel on that until class started. So thats really it for the day, not the wild success i had hoped, but better than nothing. And the countdown continues.

Yikes

I must be out of my flippin mind! Why else would I decide that knitting two pairs of socks in two weeks was a good idea? My hands just can't take that kind of pressure. And it's not like the recipients of the socks live right down the road, they live in Michigan. I have to get one and 1/2 socks done by April 16, think I can do it? Time to start using the Yarn Harlots Christmas gift method, a little late (or early depending on how you want to think about it). I wonder how much knitting I could get done if i completely sacrificed sleeping...hmm
